CMD Studio’s Story

Miami based designer Michael Del Papa has always been captivated by Architecture and Design. This became apparent early in childhood with his fascination of color, textures, how a space worked, and the appeal it had to his senses. He pursued his passion studying at International Fine Arts and finishing his education at F.I.U.

Initially working on private residences, Michael expanded his experience, expertise and talent by shifting toward the hospitality direction of design. This opened up a complete new creative palette to explore which included hotels, resorts, restaurants, and spas.

Drawing from 20 years experience, Michael formed CMD Studio and merged his residential work with his hospitality projects. Design, to Michael, is ultimately a problem solving endeavor and that there is one solution that fits perfectly in sync with the clients goals. CMD Studio takes pride in capturing those visions and transforming them into stunning environments. Regardless of the style requested, Michael and CMD Studio always maintains the highest level of design and client service – from initial conceptual phase though out to the final execution. Each project then becomes a new chapter in CMD Studio’s story.
